Consider this....
Do you have an experienced agent or broker to represent you from beginning to end.
Do you need to list exclusively and go on Multiple Listing Service?
Do you want accurate appraisal figures? Or do you want a Yes agent/Broker-One who promises you whatever you want regardless of what the house should sell for.
Do you want to know what closing costs you will incur?
If you hire an experienced agent or broker he or she should be able to sell your home on their own. If not they do not deserve to get your listing. All it takes is advertisements, Open Houses, and hard work to sell your home. There is really no reason to place your home on Multiple Listing Services unless your agent/broker is lazy. In addition you will as an owner have to pay a higher Commission to place it on Multiple Listing so the Commission can be split two ways.
Opinion...If an agent /broker can not sell your home they do not belong in the business.
Some agents depend on Multiple Listing like having a crutch. Get the listing and let someone else sell it.
